Axalon - Transformers United

A recolour of Energon Sharkticon. Fish/Shark-like transformable space carrier. The colour scheme in robot mode reminds me of Alto's VF-25F from Macross Frontier.

VF-27 Lucifer, Brera Sterne Custom

Drool worthy. Comes with loads of accessories. It has metal parts for joints and the detailing is amazing all round. Transformation can get a little hairy the first time due to the small, pointy and fragile looking parts located all over but subsequent attempts shouldn't pose a problem. Shoulder joints seem to loosen with play (friction joint?) but overall joints are tight and should be able to hold any pose. I can't decide which mode to display it in, but I'm favouring the fighter mode a little more. 

Cyclone rider - CMS

Bike transforms into exo-suit armor thing. Overall bike form is flimsy and feels like it'll fall apart but in armor mode it feels relatively solid with locking parts. Nice details all over. 

Smart Robin (Brainstorm) - Fansproject

Another "Masterpiece" version of the Headmasters Brainstorm. This one's by Fansproject and as usual the quality is fantastic. This figure is roughly the size of a Deluxe class figure. Due to its design, the flexibility on the shoulders and hips is limited. Also there's no wrist movement of any sort which kinda annoys me. Other than that, it's a really nice piece. 

At first it kinda bugged me that he didn't come with his faceplate but after reading the IDW comics I realised <spoilers ahead> he does have a mouth and his faceplate hid a shocking secret. I'm still reeling from the shock. As the story is still playing out I'm just hoping it was all a joke. To know what I'm talking about, go read the Dawn of the Autobots series.

Henkei Nemesis Prime with Flight Pack

The flight pack is from an SD(super deformed) version of Nemesis Prime which can be used on any Henkei Prime figure. It just looks way better on Nemesis than Optimus. 

Chaos/Paladin - Maketoys

I just love combiners and this is no exception. The main body can transform into a hovertank-carrying-sword thingy and the limbs can be removed to form a mobile missile launcher. And together they combine to form Chaos Paladin(?) as shown in the pics. 

Alpha Fighter AFC-01I - Aoshima (Mospeada)

Something I've always wanted from young. Ever since I watched the anime, played the pen & paper rpg and the arcade game, I've always wanted an Alpha fighter and a Veritech Fighter. (and an SDF-1; transformable battleship??!! Gimmeh!) Something about the transformation just appeals to me; simplistic and ingenius. 

I've been putting off getting one because of other "commitments" aka Transformers, but now I finally got my hands on one. This version is by Aoshima  , it's got good level of detail (better if you follow the instructions and apply all the stickers) and it has die-cast metal parts reminiscent of early transformable toys. Only drawback is that due to its age, the glue which holds certain missile flaps has hardened and the parts tend to come off. The arm joints are rather loose and the hip joints don't swing outwards (design fault or limitation due to transformation?) and tends to lose some poseability because of this. Regardless, it's still a rather decent representation.
